Gorgeous original Martha Stewart Poncho just like the one an inmate crafted for her in Alderson Prison. Back in 2005 Martha commissioned a limited number of ponchos similar to the one in her photos leaving prison. I was lucky enough to get one for my mom as they sold out that day. Mom and I are huge fans of Martha and her Mom.

Sadly my own mom recently passed away so we wanted to give her poncho a new home. I honestly don’t think she ever wore it (it’s too nice, she’d say) and while the Martha Tag is included it is not attached.

It’s the Blue Grey color as shown in my second photo. The first picture is her talking about the knit poncho on her TV Show. Mine looks smaller in real life and they say one size fits all so look at my actual poncho in photo two. It has been stored in dresser drawer shoebox all these years. Thanks for looking, we hope you’ll enjoy it and its history.
